Ocean Grove provides a beautiful environment, not only for our summer visitors, but the community as well. At your request a new memorial bench can be constructed for $500.00. This includes a seven-year guarantee of bench maintenance and plaque replacement. The memorial bench will be kept in place as long as it is serviceable beyond the seven-year period. When it is determined that a bench is no longer serviceable, a letter will be sent to the original donor(s) advising them that the bench must be removed for safety reasons and inquiring whether they wish to place a new bench at the current fee and under the terms and conditions then in effect. The Association retains the right to modify the terms of this memorial bench policy.

The policy for existing "grand fathered" memorial benches is as follows: that an existing memorial bench shall be kept and maintained for a period of not less than seven years from date of placement or as long thereafter as it is serviceable. Thereafter, if a bench is no longer serviceable, a letter will be sent to the original donor(s) advising them that the bench must be removed for safety reasons and inquiring whether they wish to place a new bench at the current fee and under the terms and conditions then in effect

In requesting a memorial bench to be placed in memory or in honor of a loved one, the Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association must have an application filled out by the person requesting a bench.
